Welcome to Boxing Day, which is a thing in Great Britain and Canada that takes place the day after Christmas. It's either something about boxing up all the crap you got that you didn't want and will soon return or....putting stuff in boxes to give to the poor.

Boxing Day is a significant holiday for people in countries formerly associated with the British Empire. It is much more significant then boxing 'crap' up the day after Christmas.
ReplyDeleteIt is about the relationship people had between the elite in society and those who worked for them. It separates, in some way, gift giving and the more spiritual side of Christmas.
